ABOUT THE ARTIST
MEKKE’L Carter is a singer, songwriter, vocal producer, entrepreneur, and creative director. Moving across pop, hip-hop, R&B, and Afrobeats, her sound brings together lush harmonies, soulful melodies, and intentional storytelling.
Her story begins in a musical family in Canton, Ohio, and continues through a childhood in Los Angeles surrounded by entertainment, touring, and her family’s Life Entertainment roots. That early connection to music and performance informs her work as both an artist and a creative entrepreneur.
Known creatively as the Rose Gold Goddess, MEKKE’L connects sound with fashion, beauty, movement, spirituality, and visual art. The MEKKE’L Multiverse brings these worlds together, while Goddess Global centers her vision for women’s empowerment, community, and collective care.
Her work includes co-writing on Vic Mensa’s The Autobiography, vocal contributions to “Wings” and “OMG,” writing the hook for Snoh Aalegra’s “X Games,” and contributing vocals to SAINt JHN’s “2Honest.”
Her experience also includes observing the creative process during Jay-Z’s 4:44 era and contributing during Kanye West’s Donda sessions. These experiences form part of a broader history of songwriting, vocal production, artist relationships, and creative development.
